Floyd Hall (1912-2007)

Floyd Hall, 95, of Grayson, Ky., known to all as Gramps, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2007, at his residence.

He was born April 24, 1912, in Letcher County, Ky., a son of the late Donny and Savannah Bentley Hall.

He was a coal miner, a retired employee of the State of Ohio and a member of First Baptist Church in Grayson. Floyd was a man of his word.

Also preceding him in death were his wife, Elizabeth Wright Hall; two sons, Floyd Arnold Hall and Billy Eugene Hall; three brothers, Morgan, 
Willie and Arnold Hall; and a sister, Nancy Jane Wright.

His survivors include a son, Bobby Dean Hall of Grayson; two daughters, Nettie Jean Salmons of Pataskala, Ohio, 
and Nancy Christine Carper of Elkview, W.Va.; 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 16, 2007, at Malone Funeral Home in Grayson. 
Entombment will be in East Carter County Memory Gardens Mausoleum. 

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today, Nov. 15, at the funeral home.
