James Edwin Gee, 42, of 387 Dean Rd., died Sunday afternoon at Madison Hospital after a brief illness. 

Born Nov. 14, 1919 at Jacobs, Ky., he came to Mansfield 16 years ago. Mr. Gee was employed at the Empire Reeves Steel Corp., 
where he worked until last Wednesday. He was an Army Veteran of World War II. 

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Martha Cole Gee; one son, Talmadge, at home; four brothers, Champ of Mansfield, Charles of Dayton, John and Andrew, 
both of Kentucky, and one sister, Mrs. Lucy Cline of New Lisbon, Ind. 

The body was removed to the Wappner Funeral Home where friends may call this evening. 
The body will then be taken to the Henderson Funeral Home at Olive Hill, Ky., on Tuesday, where funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon. 
Burial will be in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Carter County, Kentucky.
