David Wendell Fortune - 1925-2007 David Wendell Fortune, 82, of Frankfort, formerly of Carter County, died Saturday in the Hospice Care Center at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington. Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Eulane Elizabeth Barker Fortune; a daughter, Danise Ann Newton; and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Anna Belle Strother Fortune and Dr. Daniel Webster Fortune. Services will be at 11 a. m. Wednesday at Rogers Funeral Home in Frankfort. Burial will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Olive Hill Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be after 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. In lieu of fllowers, Mr. Fortune’s family requests that expressions of sympathy be made to Hospice of the Bluegrass.
