Charles Harold Evans
Evans Lumber Owner Dies

Grayson--Charles Harold Evans, 46, Grayson, operator of Evans Lumber Co. and a long time vice-president of First National Bank, 
died yesterday morning at his home after an apparent heart attack.

Mr. Evans was born Aug. 20, 1920 at Grayson a son of Mrs. Mabel Litteral Evans of Grayson and the late Henry Evans. 
He succeeded his father in both the lumber and banking positions.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Lenore Evans; a son, Charles Henry Evans of Grayson; 
two sisters, Mrs. Hazel Shufflebarger and Mrs. Irene Blankenship both of Grayson; four grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at Grayson Church of Christ by the Rev. David Williams and the Rev. Kenneth Dillon. 
Burial will be in Carter County Memory Gardens.

The body has been taken from Satterly-Phillips Funeral Home to the residence and will be taken to the church one hour before services.
