Kermit D. Dickison

Born – 1942

CHATSWORTH, IL – Kermit D. Dickison, age 64, of Chatsworth, IL. Formerly of Grahn, passed away Saturday, April 14, at his home.

Kermit was born August 16, 1942 in Grahn. He was the son of Gertie Roar Dickerson and the late John Dickison.

Mr. Dickison received his education at McKell School in South Shore, and was an employee at Electro Motive Co. in LaGrange, IL.

He was a US Army veteran serving from 1960-1962. He was also a member of the Assembly of God Church at Coal City, Illinois.

His father and two brothers preceded him in death.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy Leef Dickison of Chatsworth, IL; his mother, Gertie Dickison of New Carlisle, OH; 
one son, Douglas (Jackie) Dickison of Elpaso, IL; one daughter, Sandra (Mike) Gernentz of Cullom, IL; 
five grandchildren, Amanda L. Robinson, Robert D. Dickison, Kyle E. Robinson, Dalton A. Dickison, and Elliott Gernentz; 
one brother, Fred (Mable) Dickison of Wilmington, IL; and one sister, Sharon (Miles) Davis of Medway, OH.

Visitation was held Friday, April 20, from 11 a.m. till funeral time at 1 p.m. at Oney-Henderson Funeral Home. 
Officiating was J.D. Riggs, James Bawcum, and Eury Barker. Burial followed in Roar Cemetery.
