LEVI DICKINSON

Levi Dickinson, 91, Oldtown, died Tuesday at his residence.

Mr. Dickinson was born July 24, 1887, in Carter County, a son of the late James and Elizabeth Bailey Dickison. He was a member of the United Baptist Church, the Greenup Masonic Lodge 89 F&AM for 70 years and of the Scottish Rite.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Emma Tackett Dickinson; six sons, Chester and Lawrence Dickinson, both of Oldtown, Ralph and Thomas Dickinson, both of South Shore, Charles Dickinson of Lakeworth, Fla., and Otis G. Dickinson of Michigan; a daughter, Mrs. Marjorie Berry of Troy Ohio; 21 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at the J. B. Wright Funeral Home in Greenup by Burl Stevens, R.C. Castle and Hezekiah Osburn, ministers. Burial will be at the Oldtown Cemetery.

The body is at the funeral home, where friends may call after 7 p.m. today. Masonic services will be conducted by the Greenup lodge at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Masons will serve as pallbearers.
