Mary Hunt
1915-2003
Mary Hunt, 88, of Lynn, Ky., died Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2003, in Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital in Russell.
Mrs. Hunt was born Jan. 2, 1915, in Magoffin County, a daughter of the late Richard and Ida Ward Cook.
She was a member of the Church of Christ in Carter City, Ky.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Howard Hunt in 1988; two sons, Danny Hunt and Edgar Hunt; and one daughter, Mary Katherine Hunt Brown.
She is survived by five sons; Larry Hunt of Pontiac, Mich., Luke Hunt of Greenup, Clyde Hunt of Waterford, Mich., Elbie Hunt of Maloneton,
and Steve Hunt of South Shore; four daughters, Hazel Irene "Rene" Moore, of Maloneton, Betty Hunt Boyles of Lynn, Susie Hunt Gladman of Shultz, Ky.,
and Phyllis Hunt Johnson of Columbiaville, Mich.; one sister, Gladys Cook Eddy of Tuscon, Ariz.; 22 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, and five great-great grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted Saturday, Dec. 27, 2003, at 11 a.m. by Minister J.W. Holcomb at the Reed Funeral Home in Greenup.
Burial will be in the Liberty Cemetery at Lynn.
Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. today and one hour before service Saturday at the funeral home.
