Charles M. Conn

MANSFIELD -- Charles M. Conn, 69, of Fredericktown died Friday, May 13, 2005, at MedCentral/Mansfield Hospital after a short illness. 

Born September 7, 1935 in Carter County, Kentucky, he was the son of William Harrison and Virgie Mae (Oney) Conn. 

He retired in 1993 from Brosco's, as a welder. 

Mr. Conn enjoyed riding horses, blacksmithing, and breaking horses. 

He is survived by his wife, Lillie Conn; sons, Chester Craft, Sherman Craft, and Timothy Conn; daughters, Sharry Watson, Terry Webb, and Virginia (Ginger) Conn; stepdaughters, Debra Alexander, Nora Wade, and Shari Yaney; stepson, Don Turman; 19 grandchildren; seven step grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Eugene Conn and Roy Conn; and a sister, Irene Brooks. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Charles Conn; and three brothers, Billy, Ray, and Carl Conn. 

Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday, May 14, 2005, at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors. Friends may also call Sunday from 6 to 9 p.m. at Northcut and Son Funeral Home in Morehead, Kentucky. 

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Northcut & Son Funeral Home. 

Burial will follow in Conn Cemetery on Henderson Ridge, Olive Hill, Kentucky.
