Clyde Cline Jr. 1943-2007

NILES — Pastor Clyde Cline Jr., 63, of 46 W. Federal St., died at 6:15 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 13, 2007, at his residence.

He was born in Niles on Oct. 8, 1943, to Clyde and Nada Faye (Holbrook) Cline Sr.

A 1961 graduate of Niles McKinley High School, he worked 17 years at Republic Truscon Steel Door and retired on May 16, 2006, after working as the run out attendant for WCI-LTV Steel Co. for 23 years.

Clyde was the pastor of the Evening Light Apostolic Church for the past 19 years and enjoyed traveling.

He is survived by his wife, Mary (Heinbaugh) Cline, whom he married on May 12, 1969; three sons, Richard (Beth) Cline, Darrell (Denise) Cline and Michael (Katie) Cline, all of Niles; a daughter, Christine Cline of Niles; 12 grandchildren, Chris, Matt, Andrew, Zachary, Alex, Jacqueline, Austin, Mikey, Aaron, Ryan, Allison and Cameron; four sisters, Sharlene (Glenn) Lanterman of Austintown, Opal (Barney) Baringer of Girard, Helen Barker of Berlin Center and Shelby (William) Snowden of North Jackson; and brother, Phillip Cline of Girard.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Edgel Cline.

Calling hours will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 16, 2007, at the Holeton-Yuhasz Funeral Home. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 17, 2007, at the Evening Light Apostolic Church, where family and friends may also call one hour prior to the funeral. Burial will be in Kerr Cemetery.
