HOWARD MASON EARL CLIFF, 76, of Huntington went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2003. 

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Sunday at the Reger Funeral Chapel by Pastor Hearl Adkins. 

Burial will follow in Rome-Proctorville Cemetery, Proctorville, Ohio. 

Howard was born June 14, 1926, in Olive Hill, Ky., a son of the late Benjamin F. and Luella May Hatten Cliff. He was a life-long member of more 
than 60 years with the Plumbers and Pipe Fitters Local Union #521. Howard was a World War II veteran, having served with the U.S. Navy. 
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Dick and Willis Cliff, and two sisters, Alice Howard and Lula May Rowe. 

Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Loraine Virginia Ferris Cliff; three daughters, Sherry Duncan McClure and her husband Kevin, 
Carol Ann Brooks and Donna Gayle Evans, and a very special son and friend, Frankie Junior Lewis, all of Huntington. 

Howard leaves behind several grandsons, Mark A. Duncan, Joseph E. Brooks and his wife Lisa, Aaron Brooks, Donald Evans and his wife Barb, 
Tray Evans and his fiancée Melissa; granddaughters, Dewanna Brooks, Melinda Corns and her husband Jim, Kelly Ross and her husband Delbert; 
13 great-grandchildren whom he loved very much; three brothers, Phil Cliff of Atlanta, Ga., Frank Cliff of Macon, Ga., and David Cliff of Illinois; 
and a sister, Ann Smith of South Carolina. Howard will be sadly missed by all, family and friends. 

Friends may call from noon until service time on Sunday at the Reger Funeral Home. American Legion Post 93 of Kenova will perform military graveside rites. 
The family wishes to extend a special thanks to the staff and doctors of Cabell Huntington Hospital Intensive Care Unit.
