1939-2003
Barbara Campbell, 64, of Hitchins, Ky., died Wednesday in King's Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, Ky., following a brief illness.
She was born Oct. 22, 1939, in Grayson, Ky., a daughter of the late Curtis and Deane Felty Carter.
She was a member of Christ Church of Hitchins and was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Paul Campbell.
Her other survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law and children, Junie and Greg Baker and children, Luke, Laci, Lori and Josh, and Missy and Rob Evans and children, Corey, Casey, Chase, Emmie and Zach, all of Hitchins; a son, Brud and Pearl Campbell and children, Dokata, Jordan and Stephanie, all of Hitchins; two sisters, Jo Ann Blevins and Debbie Peffer, both of Grayson; and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Christ Church in Hitchins by the ministers, Darrell Campbell and Tony Sammons. Burial will be in Carter family cemetery.
Friends may call from 6 to 9 tonight at the Malone Funeral Home in Grayson and one hour before the service Saturday.
