Kentucky GenWeb projectUpper Tygart - Mrs. Martha Burchett aged 77 years, wife of John Burchett died Tuesday Oct. 11th, after a brief illness. She was a loveable old lady and will be long and affectionately remembered by a host of friends. She was laid to rest in the cemetery here. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. H. M. Reeder of the Christian church of which she was a faithful member. The deepest sympathy of this community goes out to the children and the aged husband, who are left to mourn her loss.
