Kentucky GenWeb projectOBIT - Linvel Carroll - Linvel James Carroll, 41, of Grayson, died Sunday at his home following a long illness. Mr. Sparks was born Oct. 26, 1947, in Carter County, a son of the late Ran and Myrtle Elliott Carroll. He was a disabled Army veteran. Surviving are three sisters, Carmaleta Carroll of Marengo, Ohio, Darlene Meade and Verna Carper both of Marion, Ohio; three brothers, Willard Carroll of Rush, Curtis Carroll of Ashland and Harold Carroll of Mr. Gilead, Ohio. The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Sparks Funeral Home at Grayson by Johnnie Little, minister. Burial will be in the Cribs Hill Cemetey. DAV Chapter 147 will conduct graveside military rites. Friends may call after 6:30 p.m. Tuesday and after noon Wednesday at the funeral home.
