Lawrence Carroll Sr., 75, of Grayson, died Friday, Jan. 2 in King's Daughters' Medical Center.
Mr. Carroll was born April 21, 1922, in Carter County, a son of the late 
Daniel "Scott" and Maggie Swint Carroll. He was a Mansbach Metal Co. retiree 
and a World War II veteran.

A daughter, Daisy Seagraves, preceded him in death.

Surviving are his wife, Virginia Davis Carroll; two sons, Lawrence Carroll Jr. 
and Mark A Carroll, both of Hitchins; three daughters, Reba Campbell of 
Hitchins, Arlene Dravenstott of Grayson, and Gloria Jarrell of Georgetown; a 
brother, Edgar Carroll of Grayson; two sisters, Ethel Bond and Lacy 
Easterling, both of Grayson; 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.     
Funeral services were conducted Monday, Jan. 5 at the Malone Funeral Home in 
Grayson by the Rev. Johnny Little. Burial was in the Davis Family Cemetery at Rush.      

Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. today and after 9 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
