Mrs. Carroll, 89, Taken By Death - Mrs. Nancy Jane Carroll, 89, of 1720 Lexington Ave., died in the King's Daughters' Hospital at 11:15 a.m. 
Saturday after an illness of several months.     

Mrs. Carroll was born in Gallia County, Ohio, December 17, 1867, a daughter of the late Levi and Nancy Jane Luman Canterbury. 

She was married to George B. Carroll in Carter County, Ky., on January 1, 1888, and had been a resident of Ashland for the past 69 years. 
Her husband preceded her in death.     

Survivors include two sons, Harry L. Carroll and W. J. (Stub) Carroll, both of Ashland; two daughters, Miss Dorothy Carroll, at home, and 
Mrs. D. E. Freeman of Louisville; two sisters, Mrs. Ruth Leedy of Grayson, Ky., and Mrs. Margaret Felts of Delaware, O.; 
five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.     

Funeral services will be held Monday at 1:30 p.m. at the Lazear Funeral Home by the Rev. Joseph S. Faulconer, pastor of the First Christian Church. 
Burial will be in the Rose Hill Burial Park.     

The body is at the funeral home where friends may call after 3:30 p.m. Sunday.
