Albert H. Butler

MANSFIELD  Albert H. Butler, 71, died Sunday, Oct. 30, 2005, at Galion Community Hospital.

Born July 17, 1934, in Olive Hill, Kentucky, he was the son of W.H. and Myrtle Stone Butler.

He served in the Air Force from 1952 through 1956. Mr. Butler retired from Ideal Electric in 1991 after 39 years of service.

He was active in the local IBEW, serving as its president for many years. For the past ten years, he was active in his own electrical business. 
He was also a lifetime member of the Amvets.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Sue Clay Butler; two daughters and sons-in-law, Kathleen and Robert Stevick, and Debra and 
William Pancoast of Mansfield; two sons and daughters-in-law, David and Jeany Butler of Mansfield, and Tom and Sarah Butler of Atlanta, Georgia; 
four grandsons, Bert, Drew, Alex, and Frank Butler; two step-grandsons, Trent and Neil Pancoast; two brothers, John Butler of Mansfield, 
and Raymond Butler of Anderson, Indiana; two sisters, Mary Grubb of Grayson, Kentucky, and Ethel Lookabaugh of Mansfield.

He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, and two sisters.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2005 at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors. 
Friends may also call one hour prior to the 2 p.m. funeral service Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2005 at the funeral home.
