Hubert Branham (1939-2006)

Hubert Ray Branham Sr., long time resident of Catlettsburg, departed this life Thursday, Sept. 21, 2006, in Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital at the age of 67.

Mr. Branham was born July 11, 1939, in Denton, Ky., a son of the late Denvil Fred and Anna Jo Glancy Branham. 
Hubert was the loving husband of Dora Lee Spradling Branham for 25 years. He was the former co-owner of Branham Construction, 
which he founded in 1976. After 20 years in his construction business, Hubert retired to farm full time in Olive Hill, Ky., 
very happy and content with the slow paced life of the country. He attended the Bethel Community Christian Church in Olive Hill.

Along with his wife, Hubert is survived by his son, Hubert Ray Branham Jr. and his wife Linda of Durbin, Ky.; 
two daughters, Bonnie Sue Allen of Point Pleasant, W.Va., and Clara Luanne McLean of Ashland, Ky.; 
two brothers, Don Branham and his wife Glenda and James Branham and his wife Sheila, all of Catlettsburg; 
and two sisters, Maggie Stewart and Jean Ray and her husband Bob, all of Catlettsburg.

Mr. Branham leaves behind four grandchildren, Buck Ray Kelley and his wife Missy, Jimmy Archer and his wife Durinda, 
Jessica Kelley and Johnny Ray Branham and his wife Erica; and three precious great-grandchildren, Layla Kelley, Marissa Kelley and Cody Archer.

A funeral service honoring the life of Hubert Branham will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 25, 2006, at Kilgore & Collier Funeral Home in Catlettsburg. 
Brother Danny Brown and Brother Lowell Webb will offer words of comfort and reassurance. Following the service, 
Mr. Branham will be laid to rest in Catlettsburg Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
