Leathie Jane Dyer

BUCYRUS, OH -- Leathie Jane Dyer, 93, of 230 Norton Way, died Friday, July 1, 2005, at home. 

She was born December 4, 1912, in Lewis Co., Ky., to the late Basil Jackson and Minnie (Spillman) Bond. 

She was married January 7, 1931, to Wince Anderson Dyer who preceded her in death April 1, 1998. 

A homemaker, she lived most of her life in Bucyrus. She attended Freewill Baptist Church and enjoyed cooking and her family very much. 

Mrs. Dyer is survived by nine children, Lillie (Clyde) Bloomfield of Galion, Sherman (Hester) Dyer of Oceola, Rosemary (Dan) Webb of Olive Hill, KY, 
Minnie Zornes of Mansfield, Toby (Karen) Dyer of Bucyrus, Shirley (John) Montgomery of Grantville, Georgia, Carol (David) Skaggs of Galion, 
Kathy (Thomas) Moore of Sulphur Springs, Ohio, and Johnny (Cincy) Dyer of Lexington; 29 grandchildren, 55 great-grandchildren 
and 18 great-great-grandchildren. 

In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by five children, three grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. 

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the Freewill Baptist Church with the Rev. Joe Walters and the Rev. Chris Stewart officiating. 

Burial will be in Crawford County Memory Gardens. 

Friends may call at the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home on Tuesday where the family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. The family suggests memorials be made to Home Care Matters Hospice through the funeral home.
