Mrs. Sarah Carroll, 73, Grahn, died Saturday night in King's Daughters' Hospital following an extended illness.     

Mrs. Carroll was born Sept. 4, 1904, in Carter County, a daughter of the late William and Nancy Barker Bear. She was a member of the 21st Street Tabernacle. 
Her husband preceded her in death.     

Surviving are two sons, Kenneth Carroll of KY 5, Olive Hill, and Burnace Carroll of Mansfield, O.; a daughter, Mrs. Christine Barney of Grahn; 
a brother, Jimmy Bear of Grahn; a sister, Ms. Norma Bear of Grahn; 11 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.     

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Oney Funeral Home in Olive Hill by the Rev. Eury Barker and the Rev. J. D. Riggs. 
Burial will be in the Tick Ridge Cemetery.     

The body is at the funeral home, where friends may call.
