Bill Barker 1918-2003 

Everett (Bill) Estill Barker, 85, of Port Charlotte, Fla., formerly of Ashland, died December 21, 2003. 

Born in Soldier, Ky., Jan. 2, 1918, he was the son of the late William H. and Mary Etta Barker. 

Bill served the United State Marine Corp during W.W. II in the south pacific. He continued his federal service as a 
machinist at the United States Naval Ordinance Station in Louisville. After retirement he moved to southwest 
Florida to enjoy his passions, fishing and family. 

Mr. Barker was preceded in death by his wife, Terra Opal Barker and one son, Stephen J. Barker. 

Survivors include two sons, William R. Barker of Portsmouth, Va., and James R.Barker of Fisherville, Ky.; 
three daughters, Marsha Bradley and Judy Razwilavich, both of Port Charlotte and Mary Jo Dove of Ashland; 
13 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Minnie Bays of Ashland and Mary K. Lacy of Columbus, Ohio. 

Friends may call from 1 to 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 29, at Miller Funeral Home in Ashland and services will be conducted at 2 p.m. by Dr. William R. Jennings. 

In lieu of flowers a contribution in Mr. Barker's honor to the church or charity of choice. 

Military services will be conducted by the Kenova American Legion Post 93.
