Kentucky GenWeb projectPortsmouth Daily Times, Wednesday, June 30, 1982 Hamilton Garrison, Ky. Mae Alexander Hamilton, 77, of Garrison, died Tuesday at the home of a daughter, Arzetta Carpenter of Firebrick. A Carter County native, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ezra Henry Hamilton, in 1964. Surviving are two sons, William F. Hamilton of Columbus, Ohio, and Ray Lewis of Westerville, Ohio; three other daughters, Ruth Collins of Wellington, Ohio, Wanda Patton of Garrison and Nellie McKenzie of Lucasville, Ohio; a brother, Anderson Alexander of Garrison; 16 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. She was a member of Bivens Chapel, where services are planned at 2 p.m. Friday, with Elder Raymond Willis officiating and burial in Waring Cemetery. Friends may call at Bryant Funeral Home at Vanceburg from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, and until 1 p.m. Friday.
