Wallace Dewayne “Dee” Adkins - 1952-2007

Wallace Dewayne “Dee” Adkins, age 55, of 293 Adkins Roads, Olive Hill, Ky., passed away Tuesday evening, May 22, 2007 in Olive Hill 
as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Mr. Adkins was born March 19, 1952, in Carter County, Ky., and is a son of the late Ottis Elwood and Ella Middleton Adkins.

Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers, Glendal Elwood Adkins and Raymond Lee Adkins; and one nephew, Ray Adkins, 
who was raised by Ottis and Ella.

Mr. Adkins was a self-employed horse trainer and farmer. He was a Baptist and enjoyed hunting and riding.

He is survived by one brother and sister-in-law, Vernon and Jane Ann Adkins of Olive Hill; one sister and brother-in-law, 
Ila Jean and Jerry Rose of Olive Hill; 13 nieces and nephews, Jeff Adkins, Johnny Adkins, Christie Caudill, Katie Adkins, Ashley Adkins, 
Crystal Kiser, David Rose, Chris Rose, Jennifer Burge, Marsha Adkins, Sue Adkins, Tina Stidham and Ann Adkins; 
one special great-nephew, Willie Adkins and many other family and friends who will sadly mourn his passing.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 26, 2007 at the Globe Funeral Chapel in Olive Hill with Brother Jeff Adkins, 
Brother Chris Glover and Brother Raymond Allen Barker officiating. Burial will follow in Binion Cemetery in Elliott County, Ky.

Friends may call Friday, May 25, 2007 after 5 p.m. and until time of service Saturday at the funeral home.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
