Large Still Is Captured
Aged Woman Disclaims Knowledge of It

	Last week Sheriff W. A. Burchett and Deputy Sheriff Ed Ratcliff made 
a raid on Davy's Run in the southern section of the county, and brought 
in the biggest still that has been taken in this section beyond the recollection 
of the oldest inhabitant.  It is of copper and of sixty gallons capacity.  
The worm taken along with it is a large one and is also of copper.  The 
implements from which the fire water was made was found at the home of Aunt 
Ellen Adkins, who is 89 years old.  The still was found in her kitchen under 
a table draped on all four sides.  The aged lady disclaimed any knowledge of 
it being in the house.  The woman along with James Adkins and John Chafens, 
were brought to Grayson and appeared before County Judge Andrew Kiser.  The 
men were placed under bond for their appearance at Carter Circuit Court, 
while the old lady was recognized as a witness.
