 	Russ Rice's wife is still on the sick list.

 	J. N. Kelly is teaching school in Greenup County this fall.

 	Willie Stone made a flying trip to Lawrence County this week.

  	Chas. Rice is at home from West Virginia for a few days' visit.

  	W. H. Whitt, of Menifee County, was calling on relatives last week.

  	Married, at the bride's residence, George Boggs and Miss Mattie Lester.

  	R. K. Green went to Cincinnati, Ohio, a few days ago with a car load of
cattle.  Reports dull sales.

  	George Green, salesman for the Ashland Hardware Co. called on Mr. S. L.
Green, yesterday.

  	Messrs. John Thompson and Ed Porter, of Stark, called on the Misses Whitt's
Sunday.
