It is hoped no one ever attempted to actually use this map for navigation. It has Louisa, Ky. on the Little Sandy River,
as well as on the Big Sandy River, some 30 miles to the east.
"Mud L." on this map may be the location of Salt Lick, Ky. (west of Morehead, Ky.)
