Albert Stallard, George Hall and James Plummer, Commissioners, appointed to make
partition of the lands herein, having filed their report of division herein at
the May Term 1911 of this Court, which this report is in words and
figures as follows:

The undersigned Commissioners who were appointed by the Carter County Court to
partition the land in the action of Henderson Baker (Jc ?) Vs. Wash Baker
(Sr ?) as described in the partition met on the lands on April 26,
1911 and after being duly sworn, did then proceed to discharge any
duty by first laying off to the infant defendants a Homestead Valued at
$1,000.00, described as follows:
Situated in Carter County, Kentucky, bounded as follows:
Beginning at a large black oak and hickory corner to lot #5
thence with Lot #5 SSW 85 poles to a maple bush
N12W 40 poles to a large chestnut N66 2/3 W43 poles to a
hickory in old line thence with old line S36W52 poles to a popular
chestnut and black oak N83W 46 poles to a stone corner to lot #3,
thence with line of same N17E 119 poles to a stone in old line thence
S79 E88 poles to a white oak thence S36W 4 poles to a stone
S61E 42 1/2 poles to the Beginning Containing 66 acres more or less.
A road is reserved over the Homestead for passway for benefit of lots
# 1-2-3-4.
Lot #1 alloted to MARTHA BAKER and bounded as
follows. Beginning at a stone in place of two black oaks, white oak and
hickory, thence S79W 36 poles to a dead black oak and stone
thence S16 3/4 W 60 poles to a stone thence with line between lots
#1 & #2 N76W 37 poles to 2 shoemates in old line with same N15E
60 poles to the Beginning Containing 13 3/4 acres more or less.
Lot # 2 allotted to REBECCA BAKER and bounded as follows.
Beginning at a stone corner to lot #3 and with line of lot #3 S16 3/4 W
59 1/5 poles to a stone in old line with same N83W 37 poles to a
chestnut and 2 white oaks thence N15E 60 poles to 2 shoemates
corner to lot #1 with same S76 1/2 E 37 poles to the Beginning
Containg 13 3/4 acres more or less.
Lot #3 alloted to STEPHEN BAKER and bounded as follows:
Beginning at a stone corner to Lots #4 & 2
with line of #4 S77E 36 poles to a stone in line of the Homestead
and with same S17W 59 poles to a stone (stake ?) in old line with
same N83W about 4 poles to a black oak corner to 1 (acre?) and 40 poles
of land Conveyed to JAMES H. BAKER, Deceased by Asa Dailey and
with lines of same and included in this lot S72 1/2 W 10 1/5 poles
to a white oak S86W 25 3/5 poles to a chestnut N16E 2/5 poles
to stone in old line with same S83E 2 1/5 poles to a stone thence
with line of #2 N16 3/4 E 59 poles to the Beginning Containing
13 3/4 acres more or less.
Lot #4 allotted to ARLIE BAKER and bounded as follows:
Beginning at a dead black oak and stone in old
line thence S79E 36 poles to a stone in old line and corner to
Homestead and with line of same S17W 60 poles to a stone corner to lot
#3 with same N77W 36 poles to a stone thence with line of Lot #1
N16E 60 poles to the Beginning Containing 13 3/4 acres more or
less.
Lot #5 allotted to DANIEL BAKER and bounded as follows:
Beginning at large black oak and hickory thence S33 1/2E 59 poles to a
gum thence S30W 53 poles to 2 white oaks N63E 10 poles to
maple bush near a white oak tree thence N8E 85 poles to the Beginning
Containing 18 acres more or less also a road is reserved over this
lot along the edge for passway.
Lot #6 allotted to NATHAN BAKER
and bounded as follows: This lot includes 4 parts or shares. Beginning
at a black oak on a edge (ridge?) corner to J.W. Bond's land thence
S51E 11 1/3 poles to a persimmon inside the fence S43E 10 poles to
a small hickory at the fence S24E 16 1/4 poles to a hickory bush
and sourwood bushes at the fence thence down the hill N82 1/2E 52
poles to a stake in the road corner (Warner ?) Steel's land thence down
the road with his lines S19W 20 poles S39W 14 poles to a stake in
(Scott's ?) line in the road thence with his lines N64W 65 6/10
poles to a gum and two poplar stumps on hill side S30W 19 poles to a
gum corner to lot #5 with line of lot #5 N33 1/2W 59 poles to a black
oak and hickory at corner of fence thence N31E 21 poles to a small
white oak N38 1/2E 57 poles to the Beginning Containing 51 (57?)
acres more or less. A road is reserved over this lot for a passway along
the top of the ridge. A connected plat showing the division of the
above described lands is filed with this report and made a part of same,
which is all respectfully submitted.
