Archer Womack was the father of Mattie Womack and the grandfather of Leonard Franklin Slye, better known as Roy Rogers.

Note that the DC gives his birthplace as Carter County and his usual place of abode as Pactolus.
Unfortunately the informant gives his fathers name as Samuel when it is actually William. This is verified by the census records
and the DC's of some of his siblings. It also shows his mother as a Kibby, no first name.

His siblings and census records seem to indicate her name first name as Cynthia or Jacintha.
