   	| this I think should settle the Ann-Nancy Ann
	| question. (I am convinced of this, even though my g2gfathers death certificate states that his mothers name was Nancy Pickering). I am still open to the question.”

	|	“I was always trying to connect her with the Quaker Pennocks who lived somewhat northwest of the land that Jeremiah had in Fox Twp, Columbiana Co. I have pretty much been
   	| able to determine that she was actually the daughter of Jacob Penick, who owned land just over a half mile away from Jeremiah.
  	|	I am totally convinced that she was the daughter of

   	| thought this might help if you were still trying to find out the Barb-Fitzpatrick connection. Lori”
	| “Ok. Here is what I have managed to learn from my Grandmother. Casander (Cassandra) Barb is buried in Hamilton Cem. in Mercer Co. MO as is David
	| Barb and his first wife Mary Susannah Hamilton. The story from a great granddaughter of David Barb, Bernadine, who lives in that area is that the headstones
  	| are missing except for David Barbs and his has been moved from it's original location. Bernadine has placed flat markers on the actual graves of David and
  	| Mary but not on Casander's. I have seen the census record for the Ellsworth's that you speak of, there is no Edward. So my curiosity is peaked as to where he
  	| was then. I saw the will information you had on your website. If I'm not mistaken Casander was still a Fitzpatrick at that time. That might help to narrow the
   	| marriage date for her and the Ellsworth. My best guess on the death place for Miram would be Osawatamie which is in Miami Co Ks or Olpe which is in Lyon
  	| Co KS. She must have been Edwards only reason for going there since the year she died he returned to MO. Unfortunately, I don't have a scanner but I will see
 	| if my Aunt does and send it from there. Maybe we will come up with some answers soon. Lori”

  	|	|	The third was my grandfather, John Thomas, b1863. Abijah's two older brothers in birth order were John and Thomas.Abijah seems to have dropped off the earth c1870.

	| Othenial BARNES was given custody of Jeremiah, "an insane person," in Jeremiah's later years (d 1847?).
   	| Catharine and Othenial had a son named Jeremiah. Jeremiah Fitzpatrick seems too old to have been her brother. Perhaps her uncle?
	| Am looking for the parents, or siblings, of Othonial (Otho) Barnes, born 1791 in Maryland. He was in Capt. Collins Co. from Fayette Co., PA
   	| in the War of 1812. He married Catharine Fitzpatrick in Columbiana Co., OH.
   	| Otho purchased land in Twp. 13 of range 4 in the District of Steubenville, OH (80 1/2 acres) in April 1825. He moved to Jackson Co.,
  	| OH around 1839. He remained in Jackson County until his death on 7/24/1874. Any information, or suggestions, as to Otho's parents would be greatly appreciated.

  	| Hi John,I have very little Fitzpatrick information at this time. I have been concentrating on the Barnes genealogy.
   	| I have picked up little bits and pieces of information on Catharine. I
   	| have come across info indicating her father was a Jeremiah Fitzpatrick. I know Catharine was born in Guernsey or Columbiana County.
   	| She married Othoniel in Columbiana County around 1822. Otho purchased land in 1825 through the Land Office at Steubenville, Ohio.Otho and Catharine moved to
 	| Jackson County around 1839. There also were several Fitzpatricks in Jackson County at the 1840 Census,
	| including Jeremiah age 60-70 and his wife; John age 40-50; and, George age 40-50 and their families. Catharine is buried at Lincoln
	| Cemetery in Jackson County. She died May 10, 1881. I was there a couple of weeks ago, I did not see any graves for Fitzpatricks. I plan to go to Columbiana and
	| Jefferson counties in Ohio in the next 2 weeks. I am also going to Fayette Co., Pa., that is where Otho enlisted in the Army for the War of 1812. I do plan to research the
	| Fitzpatrick line more, but first want to concentrate on the Barnes line. I will certainly be looking for Fitzpatricks information while in these counties though.
   	| (It would be silly to have to go again.) If I find anything concrete, I can let you know. Hope this has been of use to you, sorry I don't have more at this time.

	| Date: Sun, 13 May 2001 From: [email protected] To: [email protected] Hello. I found your email address while searching rootsweb and noticed that
	| you are researching the name Fitzpatrick from Jackson Co., OH. My great-great-grandmother was Cathrine Fitzpatrick, born ~ 1800.
   	| She married Othonial Barnes who was originally from Maryland -- I don't have a marriage date, nor do I have a date for her death.
  	| I believe she died in 1913. I have a list of six children for them, including Jeremiah Barnes, my great-
  	| grandfather. Does Catherine appear in your research and, if so, might you share some information on her with me? I'd be most grateful.

  	| [email protected], [email protected], [email protected], [email protected], [email protected]	Hello all, Several months ago I was contacted by someone
  	| researching Catherine Fitzpatrick and Otho Barnes. Since then I have had a major computer crash and lost all my saved emails. Luckily I had most of my family data base
  	| on a floppy, and was able to recover most of it. Does anyone know who this was? I was contacted today by another woman researching the same couple
	| and would like to hook them up. Actually I believe that this Catherine may actually be a daughter of Jeremiah Fitzpatrick as Otho Barnes
  	| purchased half of Jeremiah's homesteaded land in Fox Twp, Columbiana/Carroll Co, OH and is named his guardian when he was declared insane in 1847.
  	| Guardianship is almost always an indication of some type of relationship. If anyone can find the email address I'm
  	| looking for, I would appreciate it immensely. Thanks. Chris

The following notes were found among the personal effects of Talma Virginia (Fitzpatrick) Ross when she passed away.
I don't know when they were written or who wrote them.
The document probably belonged to Talma's mother at one time.

John A. Fitzpatrick and
Mary Ann Holland was
married March the 21 AD 1861

John A. Fitzpatrick was
born April 27th 1836

Mary A. Fitzpatrick
was born May the ___th 1836.

Franklin gi__ Fitzpatrick was
born July the 20th 1862

Adolphas Fitzpatrick
was born March the 28th 1863

Didama Francis Fitzpatrick
was born August the 6th 1866

Ormando Fitzpatrick was
born December the 11th 1861

Ormando Fitzpatrick died April the 5th 1869 Mary Ann wife of John A. Fitzpatrick died July the 24th 1870 John A. Fitzpatrick and Lebecca W. Haskins was married November the 12th 1891 Lebecca W. Fitzpatrick April the 16th 1898 The wife of J. A. Fitzpatrick
The vertical note in the right margin appears to refer to 1954. The original notes were probably written shortly after 1891 (Lebecca's death). The note concerning Lebecca's death is in a different ink, but similar handwriting, so it may have been written in 1898. There is a well defined imprint of a bust (George Washington?) in the upper left corner of the first side, but its significance is unknown. The original document is in my possession and I would like to pass it on to someone for safe keeping.
