1/2 miles east of Grayson on US 60 at the summit of Star Hill, a dirt road
turns off to the right and goes up a steep hill through a new development by Addington. Very near the first peak of the ridge, a large
plateau to the right extends toward the inner valley. As the development road drops over the hill circling the
ridge,

200 yards on the left, past the

road is closed now but with the development, it may be open while they are
selling lots.
This cemetery is kept by Carolyn Whitley,
who lives on US 60 at the foot of Star Hill to the east.
All of the people buried in the Haney-Ferguson
cemetery are related to Carolyn.
The cemetery keeper was John Reeves until
he died recently circa 2002, and is buried there as well.
The fence is down, and the cattle from the Lykins farm often invade for the shade trees.
