Beaver Creek 

Rt. 1274 West of Cave Run Lake

 

There is really only one route between Frenchburg 
and Cave Run. Beaver Creek is a substantial little 
stream that facilitates easy travel, both east and 
west. Any more direct routes between Hope, Kentucky 
and Triplett Creek would unavoidably pass through 
almost inpenetrably difficult terrain. This routing 
of the trail sacrifices distance for speed and a 
more efficient use of energy and resources.
