Rt. 60 from Morehead to Rt. 801



It is difficult to determine the precise route 
that the raiding part followed between Tripletts Creek 
and the Licking River. The valley floor flood plain 
created by both rivers would have been easy to traverse, 
if the traveler is aware of the general topography of 
this sector. It would have been unnecessary to follow 
every meander of the creeks to their juncture. 
A short, direct portage over land between the two 
waterways would have been far more efficient.
