These are photos of my family’s veterinarian hospitals which were located at 1034 Monmouth Street in Newport, KY. My grandfather, Jacob A Winkler, was once a blacksmith and then a veterinarian. My father, Jack E Winkler and my uncle Ward Winkler, joined their father in his vet practice after WWII. Many years later, my father and uncle built the small animal hospital on Alexandria Pike in Southgate, KY.
