Grosz Lafferde, Peine District, Kingdom of Hanover Germany and immigrated in 1848. He married Christina Dietcher in
12 Nov 1854 and died 27
Aug 1904 in Carthage and was buried in the Mt. Gilead Cemetery. Christina was
born 4 June 1831 in Germany, immigrated in 1853, died 12 Aug 1918 in Carthage and was
buried in the Mt Gilead Carthage Cemetery.
The Myer name became Meyer.
