Sun Valley
Sun Valley is six miles south of Alexandria on U.S. 27 at the entrance to A J Jolly
Park. It was originally called Slop Town because so many residents raised
pigs. It is between Aspen
Grove
and Grants Lick.
There is still a Slop-town Craft Road in the community.
