Stella Smith, 81, of Alexandria, died Saturday at Bethesda North Hospital, Cincinnati. She was a homemaker. Her husband, Franklin Smith, died in 1996.
Survivors include a son, Corbett Smith of Alexandria; a daughter, Pearlie Rahe of Cincinnati; a sister, Mattie Watts of Hazard; 20 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 5 p.m. today at Cooper Funeral Home, Grants Lick. Visitation will begin there at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Peach Grove Cemetery.
