APPOINTMENT BY THE GOVERNOR-Sidney B Jones, of this city, has
been appointed Lieutenant Colonel of the Twenty-third Regiment Kentucky Reserve
Militia.
He is instructed to divide the county into major and company districts, and organized the militia at once.
