DEATH FROM SUNSTROKE-Rees E Jarvis, a carpenter of this city, residing on McArthur street, between Columbia and Cabot, received a sun stroke on the corner of Twelfth and Scott streets in Covington, on Saturday afternoon, from the effects of which he died the same evening.

He was a soldier in the Mexican War and in the Union army during the late rebellion.  He leaves a wife and several children.
