In consequence of orders from the War Department, I have commenced the recruiting service in this place.  All able-bodied, well-sized men, therefor between the ages of 21 and 40 years, who are desirous of entering the service of their country will receive a bounty of TWELVE DOLLARS together with handsome and comfortable clothing, which no gentleman soldier need be ashamed to wear.  He shall likewise enter into good quarters; be supplied with good wholesome provisions; and will receive FIVE DOLLARS PER MONTH for his services.
