John Trapp, prominent man, father of Daniel and John and Mrs. George Keller, past prsident of Newport National Bank died of heart trouble in Philadelphia. A bank failing due to cashier Thomas B Youtsey cost Trapp a great deal of money.

Funeral of John Trapp at residence in Bellevue at 2 pm. Public service at Chapel of Evergreen Cemetery, friends invited. Ex-sheriff and contractor, Newport Elks, St. Johns German Evangelic Church. The Elks sent a magnificent floral piece.

John Trapp did not leave a will. Mary and Dan and Elizabeth Keller and George Keller appointed to administer estate of $100,000 estimated, to widow, daughter and two sons. His contracts started will be completed by his associates.
