Captain John Arthur's Company-Nothing further had been heard up
to ten o'clock last night of the fate of Captain John Arthur's Newport Company,
which the telegraph reported yesterday as being badly cut up in the battle of
Cynthiana.

NEWPORT
RETURN OF THE HOME GUARDS-Captain John Arthur's company returned home Sunday morning before daylight, from Cynthiana, having been paroled by Morgan. The causalities in Captain A's company were as follows:
Killed-W H Shipman and Lewis Wolf
Wounded-George Ledro, lightly; Wm Sanders, Acting Lieutenant, severely; John
Clutter, slightly; L Byles, slightly.
Missing-A Karle and P Lang.
Captain Gus Artzman's company also returned home from Lexington via Louisville.
