ANOTHER PRISONER DEAD-A man named Gerheart, one of the seventeen
prisoners captured by Colonel Garfield's command on the Big Sandy a few weeks
ago, died at the Newport Barracks yesterday morning.
The remaining prisoners confined in the garrison will be removed to Camp Chase soon, for the benefit of their health.
