Mrs. Ellen Girkin, 63, widow of Cyrus Girkin, died late Wednesday ar her home, 74 Miller Lane, Ft. Thomas following a lingering illness. Mrs. Girkin was a lifelong resident of Campbell Co. She leaves a daughter, Mrs. Heber Wells who with her husband operates the Briarcliffe Delicatessen, Ft. Thomas and three sons. Ollie Girkin, Marshall City, IA: Cyrus Jr. and Howard Girkin, Ft. Thomas.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 P.M. at the John J. Radel Co. funeral home 822 York St. Newport. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
Note-I'm sorry more isn't said about Ellen(1869-1932). She was the daughter of America Spaulding (1848-1887) and Francis Marion Stephens (1842-1901). Thanks Gladys
