Charles Daniel Junior is appointed Captain of a patrole for the upper or salt lick District & Zebulon Alphan & Peter Daniel, his assistants they are to serve twelve hours in each month.  The upper District is to be divided from the Newport District by a line to begin at the mouth of pond Creek and strike the mouth of twelve mile.

An additional justice of the peace being needed in this County in consequence of the resignation of Nathan Lynn esqr. the Court doth recommend to Christopher Greenup esqr. Governor of this Commonwealth Samuel Sayers and Zebular Alphin residing on the Dry Ridge Road as proper persons to fill the office of a justice of the peace in this County, a majority of all the justices of the Court concurring in this recommendation.

Zebular Alphin is appointed surveyor of that part of George Town (road) in the room and precinct of Nathan Lynn.

Indenture made 24 July 1821 between Zebulon Allphin of the County of Campbell of the 1st part and the president & Directors of the Bank of the Commonwealth of Kentucky of the second part.  Party of the first part sells a certain tract of Land lying in the County of Campbell on the waters of Bullock pen fork Ten Mile Creek Containing 87 acres.  Elizabeth Lynn....which parcel of Land and premises with all the appurtenances the party of the 1st part declares to be in Mortgage for the payment of $700 and all interest that my accrue thereon at the rate of Six per cent per annum.
