Sale of Bridge Bonds at Auction
On Wednesday last, $5000 of the bonds of the city, Covington, and the like amount of Newport bonds, for the Newport and Covington Bridge were offered at auction at the Merchants Exchange, Cincinnati, with the following result:
$1000 Covington bonds at $86.00 on the $100
$4000 Covington bonds at $32.25 on the $100
$1000 Newport bonds at $81.00 on the $100
The remaining $4000 Newport bonds withdrawn.
