Boone Gosney was born 27 Feb 1870 to Francis M Gosney and Sarah Yelton. He died 13 Mar 1932 and was buried in Evergreen Cemetery. He married Lucy Taylor in 1890. She was born 21 Dec 1868 in Grants Lick to Samuel Taylor and ? Webster. She died 24 Nov 1947 and was buried in Evergreen Cemetery.

In the 1900 census Boone was a teamster. In 1910 a distillery collector. Boone Gosney was first elected sheriff 5 Nov 1913 and served until 1916.

Bell Co. and Mayor J A Livingston of this city were indicted today charged with
