August H Oberle

August H Oberle was born
December 24, 1830 in Lahr, Baden. He came to America in the summer of
1851, arriving in Cincinnati July 14, 1851 and opened a restaurant which he
managed until his death on January 2, 1882. The restaurant was located on
550 Vine Street. He was a member of the Cincinnati Pioneer Club since
August 1, 1876.
