Andrew Jackson Livingston was Newport Mayor from 1916 to 1920 and again from 1924 to 1928. He was born 6 Feb 1871 in Newport to John Livingston and Catherine Lester. His father, John Livingston was born 22 June 1836 in County Downs, Ireland and died 7 Nov 1855 in Newport. His mother, Catherine Lester was born November 1839 in Ireland and died 26 Feb 1906 in Newport. Both were buried in the St. Stephens Cemetery.
Andrew married Isadora Ragan, born 9 Dec 1870 in Cincinnati, daughter of John Ragan and Mary Galvin from Ireland, on 29 Jan 1890 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
