Albert Maywood and Bertha Orthella Meacham
Albert Meacham was born in March 1861 near Bradford's
Landing in Bracken
County to John W and Sarah Meacham. His father John was born in Virginia
in 1825 and his mother was born in Kentucky in 1833. By 1880 the family had moved to
Alexandria where he married Bertha Orthella Smith 31 July 1890. Albert died in
New Richmond, Clermont County, Ohio, 3 May 1927. Bertha was born 25 July
1873 in Kane in Campbell Co, the daughter of Albert Smith and Jane Condon.
She died in Cincinnati Ohio, 20 Aug 1950 and was buried next to her husband in the
Watkins Hill Cemetery.

Albert was a blacksmith and my dad, Charles, worked with him. I also believe that they must have lived in California, as dad told about swimming in the Ohio when he was small.
