Bullitt County Migrations:
from Louisa & Hanover Co. VA

The following couples are known to have been in Louisa or Hanover Co. VA before migrating to Bullitt County and surrounding areas.

Most Hanover records were lost which makes this migration and these clusters much more difficult to reconstruct. Some of these families seemed to have stopped in the Bedford Co. VA area before coming on to Kentucky and some show up in the Stokes/Surry NC area and later make it to Kentucky.

	Thomas b. ca 1759 lived in Louisa Co. VA died 1825 in Hardin Co. KY - married Nancy Gentry 6 May 1780 in Louisa Co. VA

	Richard b. ca 1751 in Amelia Co. VA, lived in Louisa Co. died 7 Feb 1805 in Shelby Co. KY

Cardwell, George & Sarah (McGehee)
	George b. ca 1746 in VA - his father was from Henrico Co. VA wife Sarah b. 1757 in Louisa Co. VA d/o Jacob & Eleanor (Dejarnette) McGehee. Unsure where they were prior to KY. She dies 1828 in Shelby Co. KY.

	Blackstone b. ca 1760 VA s/o Nicholas & Elizabeth (Stringer) Gentry - Mary b. 1757 Louisa Co. VA they were both in Bedford Co. VA before coming to Bullitt Co. KY (Blackstone may have been born in Bedford Co. but his family was of Louisa Co.)

	Nicholas b. ca 1726 lived Louisa and Bedford Co. VA before coming to Bullitt Co. and later Adair Co. KY

	Wm. b. ca 1781 Louisa Co. VA - lived Bullitt Co. KY - he names a son Austin Graven who marries Maria Ridgeway in Bullitt Co. KY
Graves, David & Agnes (Holloway)
	David b. 1730 in Louisa Co. VA - he moves to Stokes/Surry Co. NC and finally to Shelby Co. KY where he dies in 1808. Do not know where he married Agnes
