Will Book A p. 442 ) NELSON b. abt. 1833 Appraisal of the estate of Jacob Bowman, deceased 13 March 1843: "NELSON, a negro boy age 10 years, valued at $225" there is a notation after this that describe him as "at tanyard" ( Bullitt Co. KY Will Book C p. 284 ) NOAH 15 Dec 1845 - On the motion of Elizabeth Congrove, widow of William Congrove dec'd, who wishes dower assigned her in the slaves of which her husband died seized commissioners are appointed to appraise and allott the said widow her dower. Appraisal returned 15 Dec 1845 which showed Mary age 21 years valued at $350, Mariah/Maria age 17 valued at $300, Lucy age 8 years valued at $300, Charles age 14 years valued at $400, NOAH (no age shown) valued at $400 and Coleman age 5 valued at $250. The widow was allotted Maria and Charles. ( Bullitt Co. KY Will Book C p. 540 ) OSCAR b. abt. 1816 Appraisal of the estate of Jacob Bowman, deceased 13 March 1843: "OSCAR, a negro man about 27 years of age, valued at $290" ( Bullitt Co.
